Lil'GMan's Baptism Day!!!

Such a neat day for our family as Lil'G decided to get baptized a member of our church. We had a lot of family and friend support too!
Daddy had the privilege of baptizing and conforming Lil'G a member of our church. Don't they look great!
Our little family!! All getting so big! I heart them! And so proud they are mine!
Lil'G with is best friend- Benj who came to support him! Gotta love best friends!!
Lil'G- I am beyond proud of the decisions you made today with yourself and the Lord, who loves you as do we your family! We are so blessed to have you in our family and all the joy you bring us! Keep on keeping on and you will do great things! I love you to the moon and back forever!

Freak Alley in Downtown Boise 2016

We love downtown Boise, although we need to frequent more than we do! We had family in town for Lil'GMan's baptism, so we took everyone to enjoy Boise- visiting the farmer's market and Freak Alley! Freak Alley is a alley downtown that artists get to come paint on each year! These would be a few of my faves!
Such a fun place to visit and take neat pics at!!
Hope you enjoy and if your ever in Boise, go check it out!!

Dinosaur State Park

We had a great day with Grandma Carla (which don't ask me why, but we never got a picture of her!) at the Dinosaur Museum that we had never been too! It's in this huge dome. And there are trails to take outside as well, which we will have to try and do another day since it started to rain!
They found all these dinosaur tracks years ago and preserved them for the museum. They were amazing to look at. I know the picture did not come out well.
All around the fossils tracks were dinosaurs. You got to push buttons and the room came alive with dinosaur sounds and even a thunderstorm! Lil'G was scared of the sounds, but also was very interested in it all, so we went back to push the buttons a 2nd time.
They had a room for hands-on learning and had this great costume that Miss P tried out for us! We even made bookmarks with dino tracks on it!
Afterwords, we headed to Chuck E. Cheese for lunch and game fun, then to Micheal's for a model car! Thanks for visiting with us Grandma Carla! We really enjoyed our time with you as always!

More Museum Fun!

Loved the huge planes and ready the history of them. Miss P loved to find out there was a plane with her same name too!!
Loved that my tykes all seemed to really enjoy it and learn a little history along the way.
Lil'G gitten' jiggy with it! He was doing these cute little dance moves while waling along.
My mom and me! I loves you mom! So glad you could come out and spend a week with us! There is never enough time to do all that we would like to do either. I am so glad the tykes had this time with you as well. I always loved growing up with family around, so we will take any chance we can to see you! Thanks for being my mom!

New England Air Museum

We enjoyed a day off from school to check out the plane museum with Grandma Terry while she was visiting. This was the entrance.
We all loved this army jeep!
Lil'G in the cockpit of an army helicopter. He was in heaven. He hearts planes!
This turned out to be a great shot also in the helicopter! We totally scored as we were getting ready to leave, an employee asked if the kids wanted to get inside the helicopter, sure enough smiles were spread across all 3 of their faces.
The tykes with Grandma Terry. The employee also let H try out an ejection seat and showed us one of the huge parachutes. He told us that during World War 1, that when some of the Americans landed in peoples yards in France, the family would let them stay with them until it was safe to go under one condition, they had to give them their parachute. Why you may ask? Because the young women used them to make their wedding dresses out of. They almost looked and felt like silk, but it was really nylon. I found it very interesting.
Thanks for a great day out- kiddos and Grandma Terry!

Campbell Falls with Family

It was a beautiful and warm day! The falls were just going to town. We got to spend this great weekend with-
some of our cousins- The Skalka Family!! Boy, did we have a great time too! We are so glad you guys came to visit over Easter weekend! My tykes are still talking about it.
Just love how this close-up picture of the water turned out.
This one was also a fave- Brandon and Baby G or Mini-Me. Baby G so loves his Papa! He misses him so when he leaves for work and is so overjoyed when he comes back home. He likes to ask about Papa through out the day too. Can't get enough of these 2!
After splashing in the water, we took the cousins to the HUGE tunnel slide on our way back home. It was all fun and games till Aunt Paula decided to go down head first on her back, she flew out and landed on her bootie!

So Long, Farewell! But Not Goodbye

Grandma Terry had to head back home to her normal life. We surely miss her and as Miss P said, Grandma Terry you should live with us cause I like it when you clean! Does that mean I don't clean?? H thinks it's because Grandma Terry cleaned her room!!! (Mom makes her do it herself!) Mom, I miss you! You did to a fantastic job of cleaning my house and doing things I would never get too! Thanks for entertaining the tykes and being a good hand off of the babe when needed! You truly are the best!
We hope to see you soon!!! xoxoxo
PS the tykes are holding their new soccer balls. They start soccer next week and are way excited if you can't tell!

Happy 12th Anniversary to Us!!!

Brandon and I get the best gift too! My brother Collin, his wife Loni, and their Baby C came from Utah to visit us!! It was soo good to be able to spend the day with them. Such a great little family. Collin is like a huge teddy bear. Every time I see him he just gives you this huge heartfelt huge and a kiss on the cheek! It's something I look forward to from him, just so loving and caring.
Here's the guys and the tykes! Crazy bunch, wait, those are mostly my tykes! It was my tykes 1st time meeting Baby C and they so enjoyed playing with him. He's a QT!!! Fun to hear him talk too.
We all went out to dinner at Fugi, it's a hibachi place, which they have never been to before, so they were in for a real treat!! We love that stuff, so yummy!
Our chef was awesome and did the fire lighting twice, since I didn't have my camera ready!
We finished off the evening with a treat from Dairy Queen, now that place is also yummy! Thanks Collin, Loni, and Baby C for taking the time to come visit us on your eastern trip. Hope you get home safe and you are always welcome to visit again! WE love you guys!

I Know Something You Don't Know!!!

Don't you hate it when someone tells you, "I know something you don't know!" Well, that happened to me a few weeks ago. It was something my husband had said to me. I bugged him about it, then let it go. Now that he is back from his climb to Rainier, I thought I would bring it back up. I did so on Thursday when he arrived home a little early from work and he was wanting to get some ice cream, which doesn't always happen. The only thing was the kids and I had just gotten home from grocery shopping, in which Brandon for some reason begged me to go shopping that day and then he was going to take us to dinner that night, so of course I did it. On the way home from shopping I had gotten the tykes an ice cream cone for being good. So they didn't want to go get ice cream, but dad insisted that we all come with him so he could get one. Then I decided to get one since I didn't get one with the kids. So we pull up to the local Dairy Queen. Right before we order, I turned the corner to look at the poster of the ice cream treat I wanted to order and I notice a girl walking towards me that looked an aweful lot like my sister-in-law Dione. So I did a double take thinking there is no way that is Dione. Plus she had this huge grin on her face and I thought she was a very nice person too, just a smiling at me. So I go back to order when I notice out of the corner of my eye, my brother walking towards me!!! I was so SURPRISED!!!! My brother and his wife had flown out to New York City for their anniversary, by the way- Happy 10th Anniversary to you 2!!! Then they took the train to Connecticut to visit me and my family. They had never been back east before and it was such a fun surprise for me.
Here we are at Red Robin resturant at Hobie's request. Dione, Rory, and me.
Brandon, Rory, and Dione- Thank- You for the Surprise and for making my day!
