Memorial Day Parade

Our town's Memorial Day parade was really special this year! The tykes both got to be in the parade and they were way excited!
H's cub scout troop even made a float and threw out candy!
Miss P joined the Brownies this year and their troop made a banner that they took turns holding during the parade!
She was a little shy when we saw her!!! Proud she walked the whole route!

It's My Birthday!

I never thought the day would come that I would be turning 22, well that day is here! he-he!
Ran out of time to bake a cake, but scored this yummy one at the store. Brandon had meetings the night of my birthday, bummer, but thank goodness my tykes weren't going to let my birthday just pass. They put the candles in the cake and sang to me!
The next night we went to dinner with some friends at one of our fave restaurants, Fuji Japanese. We love the hibachi cooking (they always put on a great cooking show) and our friends had never been.
The Rego's with one of their sons. They too had just had birthdays, so it was a celebration!
I heart this little guy more and more each day! Here is his new cheese face when taking pictures! Gotta love it!

School Art Show 2010

I just heart going to the tykes school art show and finding their art work! Just amazing and fun! H with his portfolio of pictures and sculpted surfer dude.

Miss P and her drawing of a house. This was high up on the wall, thank goodness dad hoisted her up for the picture.
Miss P's class had to make a robot out of recycables. There were amazing robots made! Here is Miss P with her "Mr. Long Legs." He was very delicate and now he no longer exists, except in pictures.
Thanks for the fun evening tykes! So fun to see what you have been learning and doing in art!

Cracking Me Up!

These 3 just crack me up and bring me smiles daily-Can't believe my baby is almost 2! He is always bringing me to the giggles for sure! How can he not! He is saying words and using his sign language more too- he signs for more, hot, cold, all done, and please. Loves his bro and sis a lot! Adores eating Popsicles- not licking them, crackers and popcorn!

This girl as always amazes me with her reading and love for it, if you don't know where she is, she is usually reading or on YouTube checking out the Jo Bro's!
I am amazed at how grown- up H has become. He is very helpful with the baby and usually without complaint. He is a great older brother to his sis and baby bro.
We are all looking forward to summer, which for us doesn't start for another month, thanks to our school district and snow days!

Addiction of Mine, NO MORE! (Sunday Post of sorts.)

So it has been almost a week without my buddy- Diet Coke. I am amazed at the Big Man upstairs for listening to my pleas for help me with my addiction. It seems a little weird in asking for such help from a beverage, but it had to be done.
I am so thankful to my father in heaven how loves me and does listen to my prayers. I have only had one evening with a headache and I have really been trying to be the nice mother too.
Cold water and with sugar-free mix-ins are my friend!
