Irish Fairy Door!

The girls and mom too got an Irish Fairy Door from Christmas from Santa! It came all the way from Ireland too! Oh the fun we will be having with our fairy!!! Even Lil'G quite likes it! The girls named her Rowan Tinkerbell! We have her door and belongings in daddy's office on one of the built-in bookshelves! We love to write her notes and leave her treats! Her favorites are cheerios and raisins! Mom even has an app on her phone to keep us updated on all things in Fairy land and the head Queen Fairy! Did you know that the fairies sleep during the day cause they are busy at night fighting off bad dreams and also being with their other fairy friends! Welcome to our home Fairy Rowan Tinkerbell!

Christmas Day 2015

Christmas morning! Santa has left our home! Love when it's still dark and quiet with the world while we enjoy our Christmas morn as my own little family!
Stockings are a favorite of mine, still are! So I make everyone open them up last to enjoy!
Squeaker all excited for her Frozen dolls!
Lil'G was sick, but still happy to open presents! Of course he got a new toy gun! He just may be my military boy some day!
Miss P with an armful! Climbing gear, books and trolls!!
H sporting his new headphones and fanny pack!
Dad wearing Lil'G's new army gear! Sweet!!
We feel truly blessed each year and love celebrating Santa as well as the birth of our Savior, for who this holiday is for. Merry Christmas from our home to yours!

Capital Tree

One of my favorite Christmas traditions is to go see Christmas lights!! I use to do it growing up on Christmas Eve, driving home from Grandma Claire's house. So we are cruising around the Boise bench area thinking we would see some fabulous lights... it did not happen. As we go along the downtown area, we come upon this!! And proceed to get out of the car for a better view! Thank you Boise for keeping my holiday tradition alive!!!

Santa took quite the liking to Squeaker and held for a few minutes!!
Loved their interaction and that Squeaker was not scared!

Nutcracker

Hoping to make this a yearly tradition with my girls, finally!! I grew up going to see the Nutcracker each Christmas season with my Nana and cousins and soo loved it! Miss P's friend and our neighbor, also goes to our church was a ballerina in the Nutcracker!!
So all the young women from church who wanted to go got tickets all together to see Holly perform! She did a great job too!
Squeaker was so excited to get her picture with a real ballerina and someone that she knew too!
Excited to go again next year, and yes I did buy a Nutcracker while we were there, maybe it will be part of the tradition too!!!

Merry early Christmas to me!

So this happened!!! I got rear-ended at an intersection, it sucked. I had Squeaker and Lil'G with me too. Thank goodness none of us were hurt. Lady just wasn't paying attention, I think she was texting and didn't slow down in time. I saw it all happen from my rear view mirror, but had no where to go, so I was like kids brace yourselves! Anyways, like 2 years ago, on Christmas eve, I backed into someone at the gas station, and ruined my bumper. We never got it fixed, now after this accident, since it wasn't my fault, Brandon said Merry early Christmas too you, looks like you are getting a new bumper! Now my car looks all fab again, I just know it's smiling on the inside to be all fixed! Yeah, sorry no after pic, which I should of taken. Mostly just grateful no one was hurt.

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas!

I sooo wanted to have 2 Christmas tress this year- one for the living room to see from the window and one in the family room for us to enjoy nightly! Scored on this awesome skinny tree!! I love how it turned out!
Here is our "Charlie Brown" tree for the family room, it looked a little weird, but we made the most of it and loved it!
Here is the entry way vignette I did! Yeah, it makes me happy!
And the table in the family room. The bottom shelf had a bunch of our nativity sets. So love decorating for the holidays, I get it from my mom! And I love that I have passed it on to my littles, cause they love to help decorate too!
