Ch-Ch-CCh-Changes!!!!
BIG Changes have been going on here at the Bayley household in the past few months! On September 19, 2012 in the morning I started bleeding, which scared me a lot! Totally thought I had lost my baby, like fell out of me into the toilet, sorry for the vivid picture. My poor 4 year old was with me and saw it all, very tragic for him! Off to the hospital to be transferred by ambulance to UCONN where they have the states best NICU. I had been told a few weeks before this that I had Full Placenta Previa, where the placenta sits completely over the cervix. Which is not a good thing, thus that is why I started bleeding. These beautiful flowers were sent my all my family in Utah telling me to take care! They lasted forever too and made my room smell happy!
The hospital became my new home for the next month. I was on bed rest and on the diabetic eating menu too. I could only get up to go to the bathroom, shower, sit in my bed or one of the chairs in my room. I was not allowed to wander the halls of the hospital or even leave the maternity floor. I was know as "a Bleeder!" I was ok with this, as long as my baby was doing well! She got lots of monitoring and ultrasounds during our stay. She liked to keep the nurses busy when on the fetal monitor by not staying still!!

One of my wonderful friends- Holly Cassaday brought me this beautiful and uber soft "Prayer Shawl" from her church. I had never heard of a prayer shawl before, but the wonderful women at her church get together once a month to crochet these shawls, then at church they say a prayer over the shawls for those who are sick then members of the congregation can take them and give them to those in need or sick. It brought me much comfort and warmth- especially to my family when the visited cause my room was really cold, just how my pregnant self liked it!

I stayed very busy at the hospital by getting the fetal monitor daily, if not more, blood sugar tested, insulin and meds given, lots of visitors, ordering my meals, reading magazines, and catching up on my cable! Love me some TLC! This would be one of the photos of me getting a blood transfusion, which I had to have 2 of! Lost a lot of blood before and after baby was born! Thanks Bella and Edward!! (for you Twilight fans!)
I will be back to continue on our adventures of our new arrival to our family!
