Into the Wild

So I know this movie has been out and is now on video, but I just watched it last night with my hubby and quite enjoyed it. I had read most of the book, but for some reason had a hard time finishing it. So I was a little hesitant to want to even watch the movie, but I say it is a must see. Great insight, great actors/actresses and rad music by Eddie Vedder or Pearl Jam! We downloaded the soundtrack and everything!
Here's to another great movie! (Adam, if you read this, the main guy reminds me of you!)

Sunday Post

My wonderful hubby is in charge of the Young Men at our church (the teenage boys). Today they all helped out and taught all the younger kids a little lesson on when Christ visited the Nephites and blessed all the little children after he was resurrected. They all did a wonderful job with stories, pictures, and a game. All the teachers and my presidency enjoyed a little break of having someone else help out with the sharing time!
B- thanks so much for sharing your testimony with us today and your wonderful group of young men who also participated! You are welcome to come again!
Yes, I finally made it to atleast the last 2 hours of church today, still not 100% and the tykes are coming down with it too!

Saying Goodbye!

Grandma & Grandpa Bayley along with Molly head out on their new adventures in New Mexico!
H & P posing by the big moving truck. I don't think it has hit us just yet that g&g are moving away for good. And since I have been sick the last few weeks I was no help to them at all or didn't get to spend alot of time with them either. All of which is a bummer!
We want g&g to know how much we will miss them here in the east with us, but also very excited for them too and their new life in New Mexico, which gives us somewhere else to go visit! We sure love and appreciate all that you have done for us and especially for being a part of our kids lives. You guys were great friends to us too! Please keep in touch and good luck with everything!!!!

Pregnancy Update!

Well, this pregnancy has been all around different for me! I have had the morning sickness for the first time, some smells bother me, and same with food, which I never had any of this with my other 2. Interesting, I say. I went into this pregnancy being borderline diabetic and so I have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes from almost the moment I have been pregnant. So I test my sugars 4 times a day and give myself insulin shots, now up to 3 times a day. Plus take any other meds I need, so I stay really busy with all of that and remembering to do it all too. Then I got gout a few weeks ago (when your uric acid is off and it crystalizes in a joint, which happened to be my big toe), then I had this nasty flu/cold for 2 weeks! So, basically, like I have been told by a few, this pregnancy is kicking my butt!
Hoping for a sunny side of things and I do getmy ultrasound on Thursday! Taking the tykes with and they are soo excited! Since I am diabetic I have to have a more intense ultrasound done and I hear it's a 3-D one, so it will be interesting to see! I am soo looking forward to this and to see our baby healthy and growing!
Sorry to all those out there, we are not finding out the sex of the baby! I got one of each, time for a surprise for me! How many times do we get surprised in our lifetime?

Hippity-Hoppity Easter!

Ok, I am finally on the mend of being sick, thank goodness too! Easter got off without a hitch too! So glad the Big E could visit our house. The tykes were sooo overjoyed! Here is P with her basket and new care bear!
H showing off his basket a a find in one of the hidden eggs!
The tykes looking hunting for eggs. P had to get talked into it from H, she wanted to play with her little prizes found in her basket instead of hunt for eggs. She didn;t last too long, but H was all game for it and wouldn't quit!
In new Easter outfits. H was freezing and P, well she just didn't want her photo taken. I sooo loved her dress and she did too a few days before, but was extremely mad I made her wear it Easter morn!
It was a great Easter all in all! We got to have dinner with the in-laws before they move on Thursday, which will be a lonely time for us! I still didn't get to make it to church due to coughing, Brandon was a trooper and stuck it out 2nd week in a row without me!

Sooooo Sick!

Ok so I know you have all been missing me and the happening of our household. I will tell you not much except for lots of coughing, headaches, fevers, chills, and sweating! Now aren't you all glad to know. My mid-wife informed me I have a bad case of the FLU!!!
I am just trying to survive! Brandon has been Super Daddy taking care of the tykes and running errands for me. I sure love my man and grateful he is a part of mine and my tykes lives!
So hopefully I will be back to my normal self soon, rather than later!

Talent Show!

Finally, blogger let me post pics. It hasn't worked for a few days. Anyways, last Saturday night was our church ward's 1st birthday being a ward (a bigger congregation) It was a fun night with JELL-O too! Here is Brandon and the tykes performing "My Garden" by John Denver.
P is starting to grow- inch by inch, row by row gonna make this garden grow!
She's up! What a great farmer H is! They were adorable till P decided to hit her brother a few times for watering her tooo much, so we had to cut the performance short. We all had a good laugh though.
They even had a jell-o eating contest with kids feeding adults. H was a shoveling it in for this older lady!
Here is P's CTR5/6 teacher. He did sotry telling and had the kids help him. It was great. Also thought I would throw in that he is single and a great guy!!! (if you know of any single gals looking!!!)
Thanks for our family ward members for a great evening!

Sunday Post

Our topic at church was on the power of prayer. I think it's so great that we can pray anytime and anywhere when needed. That the Lord is always there. The speakers were great and told of stories of when they had prayers answered. What a neat feeling that is too.
I am so grateful for prayer in my life and I have loved listening to my children as we teach them to pray and the things they pray for.

Things to do on Girlz Trip!!!

So we went to the famous breakfast resturant called The Bear Claw. Awesome food, long wait, but worth it! They had the nerve to ask us to "Leave our Butts" at the door though!!!
Going to dinner- Ele, me, Kate, and Shelby. Great company! Then off for some more shopping, our favorite activity of all!
Shelby's sis and her friends came for the Girlz weekend too and joined us for dinner- Kehley, Kara, and, Kara- they were loads of fun!
We had scheduled appointments at The Gathering Place Spa! We were treated to massages, in my case a facial, pedicures, and tanning, which I couldn't do, but it was a great afternoon! I have never had a facial and I got a full hours worth too! I soo recommend spa trips on your girl trips for sure! Thanks for the fun outing that Kate put together for us! YEs, mine are the orange toes!!!
How fun it was to be shopping on Leap Day too, a lot of stores were giving deals too! SCORE!!!
