Lutz Children's Museum!

For President's day we went to the children's museum!
Miss P loved the dress-up clothes of different animals! She does make a cute doggy!

They even had a room of different kinds of animals to check out! I loved seeing an owl and CT's own groundhog! We sure had a great time as a family!

Connecticut Historical Society

I got to help chaperon Miss P's Achievement Day Girls (girls church group ages 8-11) activity to the Connecticut Historical Society. They were having a display of old embroidery work. The girls have been learning embroidery too! It was very neat stuff. Thank goodness they also had a touching room! This of course the girls really liked!
They even got to play house!! Such a fun afternoon with a bunch of great girls!

School Ski Club!

H was involved in the school ski club this year! It was his first time learning how to ski. The kids go up to Otis Ridge in Massachusetts for lessons and a good time!
Here is H in action! He loved it sooo much! His first day in lessons he got moved up 2 more classes since he was so good! He must take after his father as a natural!

H and some of his buddies! They were there each time for 4 hours. Had lessons, dinner, and free time to ski!

Loving The Ones We're With!

Valentine Cake was of the dessert menu for Valentine's! With yummy cinnamon hearts!
While watching for the school bus, I hear lil'G exclaim- I eat, I eat, I eat! I thought I better investigate and this is what I found! The little squirt had gotten a little kid chair, pushed it in the kitchen and pulled the plate in his reach and...
helped himself! He was very proud of himself no less! I just had to giggle!
The tykes had requested I do another treasure hunt around the house for their Valentine prizes! They were in for a little surprise when they got home from school with their starting notes on the front door! Miss P pleased with yet another stuffed animal and G can't get enough of the candy!

We had a great Valentine's Day! One of the biggest reasons would be that the tykes were back in school after being out for 6 days due to ice/snow on the rooftop of the school!``

Some Chopping Going on Here, & it's Not Wood!

Oh my! There is my cute, growing up daughter!! With one of my favorite haircuts- the A-Line!
The best thing is, she LOVES it!!! I think she has been afraid for a long time about cutting her hair, she didn't realize that it DOES grow back!!! So then she was ok with the hair chopping!
Miss P- you are adorable no matter how you look! I am proud that you decided to donate your hair too, to help make someone else life more beautiful! Loves You!
