This Is Halloween 2008!

I scored this outfit last year when Old Navy was clearing them out. I thought it was a good unisex costume since I didn't know what I was having. Doesn't Baby G look sooo adorable in his penguin costume? It is so soft and snuggly, I can use it through winter time too!

Sunday Post

Be Prepared! I know this isn't the best shot, but last night there was a car accident basically in front of our home and a power line was knocked down, so there went the power! The tykes were screaming, the baby and the dog not knowing what to think!
So we spent the rest of the evening by candle and flashlight light. We had no power for 8 hours. Thank goodness they were able to fix it late in the night, so we could function normally for today. But I think I will be buying some new flashlights with LED and getting a few more candles to have on hand, also making sure they are in easy to find places, not much fun stumbling around in the pitch black. We are taught at church to always be prepared and this was a wake-up call for sure! The tykes were so scared to go to bed that Brandon and I had to sit in the hallway with books, magazines, and a headlamp while they went to sleep so that they felt safe.
Ok, so the only funny part to the story was when the power came back on at 2:30 in the morning, was the lights that got left on that Brandon had to go around and turn off, all the McDonalds lights were on too (it's nearby), but the employees had gone home. And well, you know their drive-thru is open 24/7, someone drove-up and layed on the horn, playing tunes with their horn trying to get someone's attention inside to order, but no one was there!!!

Halloween Par-Tay!

The tykes got invited to a Halloween Party by one of their friends! It was quite a night of scares, screams,laughs, snacks, games, and fun! Here is Penelope, Anna (she was the party's hostess), H, and Miss P. Really my tykes came in costume, but got to hot and took them off.
Bobbing for apples was a huge hit! H did this game more than once.
You can see why, he's good at it!

3 Months Young!

Baby G is 3 months already! Where does that time go! He is loving to smile and make goo and cooing noises. The tykes love to make him laugh too! He loves it when his papa whistles to him too! Of course he loves his mommy and looks around for me too!

Now he is old enough for his new BUMBO! We are all excited to have him try this new seat out. It's amazing! (thanks to my friend Julie and her boys for the fun gift!)

For Grandma & Grandpa Campbell-

Look where we went for a hike!!!
Isn't it beautiful! We really enjoyed it and so did Mudslide. She was running all over the place.
Check out this rock- shaped just like Utah! So I was wondering if this was some sort of sign. A waterfall with my parents name, then a Utah rock!
Don't you love finding little monuments that people make when you are hiking for others too enjoy! We sure did and took a picture to remember it!

Tagged Again....

So here it goes- a few random things about me, I know you are all wondering!!!

-I am a nail biter! I think I always will be and 2 of my tykes have picked up this trait of mine too.

-I am addicted to reading In Touch magazine, I have to have my weekly fix! (I may even ask for a subscription for Christmas!)

-I like to recycle, we have less trash and it makes me feel good to be helping the environment some.

- I like to be organized, then I always know where all my stuff is and know that it has a place.

- I enjoy rocking out in my car, mostly when I am alone and also at times with my tykes, to see what kind of reaction I will get out of them! (love it when they ask to listen to some of my music!)

-Who would of ever thought I would be married at 20, move across the country, and have 3 tykes?

A New Friend

We went to dinner with the in-laws and their friends at a favorite Chinese Buffet. Sitting by us was this cute girl doing her homework, come to find out her dad owns the place. She took a great liking to all our tykes. She was entertaining them all! I had to get a picture of our new friend- Brianna. If only she lived closer to us for a babysitter! She was great! It was fun to get to know her a little, such a sweet girl! Maybe we will run into you again when we come back!

We Got A Quick Visit From...

Grandma Bayley and
Grandpa Bayley who were out to get the rest of their belongings to take back to their new home in New Mexico.
Dad took us on this great little hike to Haystack Mountain! It was beautiful! I guess they use this tower for when there is a huge fire to watch over things.
It had great look-outs at the top! Oh, wait, that is for the next picture! This is my man doing his best Nacho Liebre pose! Love you!
Just beautiful! Thanks for the fun adventure and we are so glad G&G Bayley came for a quick visit! We miss you guys!

Party At The Patch!

We had the tykes birthday party with their friends at a local pumpkin patch- Ruwets!
They all got to go on hayride to pick out a pumpkin. And they were good sports to pose for a picture too!
I love how they decorate the huge bales of hay!!
Lots of fun stuff to check out on the hay ride.
We finished off with donuts and cider by a fire and a pond. But don't forget they also got to go through a corn maze and a haunted house!

Trying For A Smile!

Baby G has been so much fun to have around. I love watching him be able to see things more clearly now, discovering his hands more, the little lip smacking noises he makes when done eating, and SMILING!
Here's a sort of smile. Guess he was wondering what the silver/black thing mom was holding. Even the tykes tried to help me with the smile too! No stress, we will get one, one day! We are enjoying the smiles he gives us daily! I have to call him Guy Smiley!

Look Who's 6...

Miss P!!! She was so excited to tell everyone too at church that today is my birthday and I am 6!
All she really wanted was a Chihuahua stuffed animal! Thank goodness mom came through with a cute Webkinz one, who got named Rocky.
We decided to make a shared cake for both H and Miss P. So Miss P's side had the chocolate frosting and H had the white. Plus H was surprised to see that he got a few prizes on his side too!
Here are 6 things I adore about my girl-
She is a great reader and sooo loves to read! Which I hope she will always enjoy too!
I love her imagination! She can turn anything into something fun.
She has great enthusiasm for life.
She is a little Firecracker! So full of energy!
I love to tell her how cute she is, her reply I know!
She soooooo loves her new little brother and tells me everyday, more than a few times might I add! She is a great helper with him too. She loves to make him smile and she reads to him often too!
I love you Miss P and so glad you were chosen to be a part of our family! Thanks for bringing some spark into our lives!!! Happy Birthday and to many many more!

My Sister Rocks!

My sister and her family are such great hosts for every time we come to visit in Utah. They let us stay at their place and we have a grand time!
My sister is also doing the best thing in the world for me and she says this is her gift to me and the baby, she is doing Baby G's baby book! Now she is one awesome scrapper too, so the book is going to be great. I got to see a peak at it while visiting and it looks awesome!
Probably one of my biggest wishes would be to live closer by each other so we could do sister things!
J's- you are the best! I look up at all that you are able to do and accomplish- you amaze me! I luv you!

11 Days Apart!

I was so excited to see my best friend cause she had a little boy just 11 days before me, now you would of thought I would of got a pic of us, but no! So enjoy our tykes instead!
Introducing Baby R and Baby G! I so wish we lived closer together so out tykes could grow up together! Noelle- your son is adorable, as is your daughter too! So nice to see you guys!

4 Generations

So great that I still have some of my grandparents around. They are such great people and I was so blessed to live by them all while growing up, so they were all a big part of my life. We had a nice get together while in Utah with family and friends. We had a great turn out. It was fun to see everyone, so thanks all for coming!!! The Utah Makeover!

Of course we couldn't go all the way to New Mexico and not make a trip to Utah!!! The first day we got there, the cousins were soo excited to see us. The girls wisked Miss P away and locked her in their room for an hour for the "Utah Makeover." Thank goodness I was there for the revealing- lights out, flashlights, and a grand entrance!! Here is Miss P along with H, Paige, cousins friend Shayla, & Brooke.
They did her hair, clothes, and makeup! It was too cute for words and Miss P was beside herself. I think she got made-up daily while we were there! H, Shayla, Paige, Brooke, Miss P, & Austin.
Thanks girls for the undivided attention you gave to Miss P on our trip! We all had a great time!

Our Growing Boy!

Here is Baby G in New Mexico hanging out at G&G's house at 7 weeks
Here he is at 8 weeks in Utah.
Baby G had his 2 month visit to the dr's. His stats are- 10lbs 3oz and 22inches. This little guy is a growing! We are enjoying every minute of it, just don't grow up too fast though!!!
