Miss P Pops Concert!

Miss P had a great choir performance and they all made their own tie-dye shirts in the school colors! Her last choir performance for Lake Hazel Middle School! Now onto high school! Can these kids quit growing up, please?!?!

GMan's School Art Show- Christine Donnell School of the Arts

So fun to see the artwork that G'Man made during the year at their year-end art show! We signed-up to make Batik artwork and they turned out great! I'm holding H's art piece! I think I may ahve to frame these!

Lake Hazel Middle School Choir

Miss P has really enjoyed taking choir in middle school. And we have surely enjoyed going to hear her beautiful voice too! Keep up the great work, we love to hear you sing Miss P!!!

Lil'G Crazy Hair!

Gotta love when your school has a carnival and you can spend your tickets on getting some CrAzY hAiR!!! Of course that is what LIl'G did!! He loved it!

Back-To-School 2016

H is a Sophomore this year at Mountain View. He is taking a sports med class that he is really excited about. He is thinking of maybe being a chiropractor.

Miss P is in her last year of middle school as an 8th grader at Lake Hazel. She is excited to be in the choir and drama. Also to be a helper to other students who need it!

Lil'G is in 2nd grade this year! Lil sister is still a stay-at-home and doing a little preschool learning with mom!

Yeah that we still get to take one kid to school and get a 1st day pic! Lil' G got picked from the lottery drawing to attend a art charter school - Christine Donnell School of the Arts. HE LOVES SCHOOL this year!!! He was struggling with school and we decided to give this charter school a chance, his best friend/neighbor also attends the school too! And I am beyond happy that he is so happy to be at school each day!! Makes my heart smile too!

Loves to all my littles to a great school year! I am proud of you all!!!

Last Day of 1st Grade!

Lil'G-Man had his last day of 1st grade and his school invited families to come eat lunch outside with them! This is Lil'G's teacher- Mrs Miller! She was great! I helped out in the class once a week and really got to know her and Lil'G really like her too!

Lil'G loves loves crazy hair day at school! He was sooo excited to dye his hair blue! He still looks pretty cute with bed head and blue hair! I'd still claim him!!

Showing Acceptance

Lil'G got an award of the month for Showing Acceptance! I'm a proud momma!

One thing I love it when the teacher emails me about it without Lil'G knowing and we get to surprise him at school for the award ceremony!

Mountain View Wrestling Team

H was on his high school wrestling team during his freshman year. He did a great job and made some new friends!

Wrestling is such an interesting sport, even though you are on a team- it's all YOU!!! Just you and your opponent out on the mat. It's exhilarating and terrifying to me all at the same time!! H is the white boy.

H took 6th place at a huge tournament held at his school! Super proud of him and the time and effort he put into wrestling this season!!

"Chunkin-Pumpkin!"

H had to build a catapult for a school project in his science class, then they launched them off one chilly Saturday morning!

It was fun to watch and they kids could basically launch whatever they wanted! We brought are rotting pumpkins to be launched. Thanks for the giggles H! The news people even came and videotaped while H was launching his!

Back to School 2015-16

H started his first year of high school as a Freshman! He has to be up at 6 and out the door by 6:45, it's an early morning!

Miss P is in 7th grade in middle school and loving it! The middle school she attends is the largest student population in the whole state of Idaho! We will be excited for the next school year when the new middle school will be open, hopefully relieving some overcrowding.

Lil'G is repeating 1st grade and I love his teacher!! Here's to a great year!

Homeschool with Idaho Virtual Academy (K12)

Our Lil'G was really struggling with school. He was in 1st grade, teacher was ok, not my fave and Lil'G would not go to school! He was throwing fits and crying and just flat out wasn't handling things. So we talked to the school to see if they would put him back to Kindergarten since he wasn't coping. Well, that wasn't going to happen so, we pulled him out in November. But the home school program we used didn't start till January! We made it a few months of me just teaching things on a whim and also moved to our new house during this time as well. We have learned alot together in this journey and have both liked it! It really is hard to home school I will say, even as much as I liked it, had to put on a different hat, not the mom hat, but teacher hat and have your child listen. Also having Squeaker around watching TV and needing things. Lil'G really enjoyed it. The program K12 was great! I was known as the "learning coach". Lil'G had an actual teacher, whose name happened to be Mrs Bailee too! We mostly just talked on the phone to her. They send you everything you need to teach and give you lessons on the computer! Proud of Lil'G and all the work he put into learning! It's back to a normal school for the new school year!

Kindergarten Graduation!

Lil'G with his wonderful teacher- Ms. Ricketts!! We loved Lil'G's teacher!! He made lots of friends, enjoyed school and said his favorite subject was recess!! He had a great first year of school and I loved that it was 1/2 day too!! Now he is a Big Boy and will be in school all day long for 1st grade, I don't know about that yet, Squeaker and I will surely miss him!!

Lil'G- I'm so proud of all that you are learning and how big you are getting, tie please slow down!! Keep at it! You are great! Loves!

2nd Place Science Fair!

Oh Yeah! This girl took 2nd place in the 5th grade Science Fair!!! Miss P chose her experiment on How many bananas does it take to make the best banana bread? We opted to do gluten free banana bread so Miss P could taste test it too!! Miss P thought it would be 3 bananas, but the taste testers came in with 5 bananas as being the best banana bread! It turned out to be a fun experiment!!

Book!! Books!! And More Books!!!

Loved that Lil'G got a brand new book each month in is Kindergarten class from the "Read to Me" program of the Idaho commission for Libraries! They were all fabulous books! We loved getting them and immediately came home to read them together!!!

Muffins for Moms!!

1st Day of School 2013

H starts middle school!!!! He rides the bus to school each day.
