Apple Picking!

We went apple picking for playgroup and it was way fun! With a beautiful day to boot!

Here is Lil'G with Miss Lizzy, with their goofy grins! Check out the size of that pumpkin!

Lil'G loved that dog that showed up on the farm, so he followed it around. The dog didn't seem to care. Come to find out, the dog doesn't belong to the farm owners, it's the neighbors dog!

Lil'G having a sample of the apple to make sure its good and it was!
Thanks playgroup friends for a fun day!

Birthday Prizes!

It's really been fun having Brandon and H share birthdays for the past 10 years!!! This year they went out together to celebrate with dinner, shopping at Cabela's, and out to a movie!

H has really gotten into reading, so it was fun to pick out a new book for him! He has already started it and loves it!

H scored a gun that shoots out little spit ball type things. You add water to it, so needless to say the side of my house has been peppered in spit balls!!!

I totally surprised Brandon with a new Syderco knife since he had lost the other one I got him a few years back. He loves it and has been carrying it around since! Not sure what is up with the goofy face, I think it's his, I am turning 40 face!!!
10 Things That I Adore About H-

1- He is a great artist, I love to see his drawings.
2- He is a protective older brother to his younger sister and brother.
3- He makes me laugh!
4- He is quite smart and knows things that I don't know.
5- He likes to watch cooking shows and may want to be a Chef one day.
6- He also mentioned something about owning a water park with a slide that you start off going down looks like a toilet and his job would be the one to flush you down!
7- He is very interested in learning about history- learning about the different wars, the Holocaust, Pearl Harbor.
8- Loves to ride his bike and has recently helped with his dad's training for a running race by following along on his bike!
9- He is a very good eater! Loves all fruits and most veggies! Now can you rub some of that off on your sister, please!
10- I am just so glad that I got picked to be your mom and that you are my first born and the memories we have made together! Thanks for being a part of our family!
Here's to many more birthdays!

H is so enjoying middle school! Which I am very grateful for too! He even gets his own locker!!! They had open house night and it was fun to cruise around the building to see what H is up to all day long, visit his classroom, and meet is teacher who is really great!

Even Lil'G fits in the locker too, now that is convenient!
So happy for you H! Make the most of your time there!!!

Fathers-N-Sons Outing 2011

These 2 brothers got to enjoy a night out camping with dad and a bunch of other church members for the Father -n- Sons outing!

Look at my 3 guys! I heart them all!

Lil'G and his friend Ollie out hiking around checking things out and hopefully staying out of trouble!
This is something I totally admire Brandon for, ever since H was born and barely 1 year old, if that, he has always gone on the father -n- sons outing with his son/s and I love it!

Our Day at the Goshen Fair

Check out the size of those pumpkins! I can't even imagine growing one of those in my yard!

Loved this miniature horse!

They had a petting area, loved the cute little piggies and their skinny tails!

Baa-Baaing sheep too. Their coats of wool were super super thick!

My very own lamb and chicken!
It was a sunny fun day at the fair!

The Royal Screw's 1st Annual Time Trials

Brandon's riding group decided to do a time trial of 18 miles, which was 2 laps around a river. Here is Brandon at the starting line! Go Babe Go! Yes, I made myself the designated cheerleader for everyone!!!

Brandon at the end, he already passed the finish line, slowed down and turned around to come back! Great ride!!!

This is how we kept the kiddos entertained for a while- coloring the big rock with chalk! It was quite colorful when they were done.

Part of the group hanging out and getting ready for the time trial!

Brandon and Chris, he goes to our church, and yes I made them pose for me!
We all had a great bbq after and decided that this would be an annual thing!

Back to the Grind- School Time!

This little Missy is starting 4th grade! She is the oldest grade at the school, so that means she rules the school! She got a wonderful teacher and we are ready for a great year!

Big H started 5th grade and is at the middle school!!!! Thank goodness it's just 5th and 6th graders there! He is loving it! Has his first male teacher and even has a locker!

Here is m crazy Lil'G! Love that he scrunched his eyes shut for the picture too! He is who I get to hang out with while the other tykes are at school all day! We sure miss them, but sure love our time together!
H and Miss P- Bring It! It's going to be a awesome year! Can't believe how fast you 2 have grown, but I am so excited for the both of you! Good Luck this year! Loves!
