Weekend Fun!!

What a fun-filled weekend it has been. We had Aunt Bonnie, Uncle Dave, cousins- Eric, Ethan, and Nick come visit from PA. We have been doing alot. Friday we spent the day at the beach in Rhode Island. The water was freezing, but the kids had a blast! Saturday we went to MA and took in the Butterfly conservatory. What an amazing place! It takes your breath away to see all these beautiful butterflies all around you! Fun to watch them land on you too! I highly recommend a place like this for any one. People can even get married there!!! So here of course is H & P trying to pose for a quick photo.
One neat butterfly out of a bunch that we took.

Pet Parade

Our town does a Pet Parade every year. We seem to usually be out of town for it, but not this year. We decided to watch from the sidelines and next year enter Mudslide in the parade. We did however dress her up for the occasion and she had a ball barking at all the animals!
Here is H and P with my friend Natalie- (wait, where is her head?) watching the parade. The weather was not to nice- overcast and rainy.
Here is a pic of some paraders- the Hippy Bunch! I was amazed to see people bring their cats, goats, roosters, guinea pigs, and rabbits, oh, and lots of dogs of course!
After the parade they hand-out awards to the pets that the judges voted on. We however found Mudslides twin in a huge version, Mudlside was the Minnie Me!!! Mudslide did get a nice swipe of that slobber across the side of her face after the photo op, YUCK!!!

Checking In

H's whole school had an Art Show Thursday evening. The theme was a Spanish theme. It was really fun to see all the kids artwork and have H find his to show us. H's sewing project. He was really proud of the shark he got to put on, but really wouldn't tell us much about the sewn creature. I think it looked kindof like a turtle.

Mother's Day Shout-Out

Just wanted to wish every mom and very happy mother's day! I tried to post some pics, but blogger wouldn't let me.So my loving thoughts will have to do... This week has been really great from me. Everyday P kept asking if it was mother's day yet, and still told me happy mother's day anyways. I got the cutest little gifts from her on Wednesday that she made at preschool. the things those teachers come up with amaze me. Then on Friday I got gifts from H that he made at school. So fun to see their little faces when then give me gifts. I also scored some good mail from my sister- the cutest "sisters" necklace. On the back it says I heart u! It's adorable. We have both been looking for a sisters something or other to wear and Jamie did an awesome job if finding something. I would like to give a shout-out to the best sister in the world!!! Jamie- I totally look up to you and sooo wish we were lived closer.
I also scored a wonderful Mother's Day all weekend long too, from my loving husband. Friday night I scored a familiy tent! And we sleept outside in the backyard- kids, dog, portable dvd player, popcorn and all! It was a great night and not cold either!!! Saturday night- had a little at home date night when my husband surprised me with the movie "Catch and Release" with Jennifer Gardner, whom I adore! I totally recommend this movie. It was really good. Good music- photography- setting. Then Mother's Day morning, I woke up to breakfast in bed! How sweet it that! I wish everyday could be mother's day, it just feels great. Don't mean to sound like I am bragging about my prizes, it was just a fun weekend full of surprises!!!
